How many people have stories of their own Ekaete?
I bet 2 in 5 families have these stories of their Ekaete getting pregnant. Of those 2 families, one Ekaete has been impregnated by the man or rather men of the house: The father or the son.
Why does this always happen? Is it because the Ekaetes are the ones that are readily available? Why are we all under the impression that its the Ekaetes that introduce sex to the 'naive son' and never the other way round?
Anyone have any stories to share?

I also bet more Ekaettes than not were raped or seduced by the men. A lot of them are underage after all. Half of out naija men have stories with one 'ekaette' or the other.

This is so sad I was laughing but not because it was funny. So basically this is something that happens everywhere in Africa. I am not nigerian. I was wondering about that and now there is a video about it. Will it make it more of an issue or will this end up like the other issues under the rug?
Oh boy, i no fit shout. TO be honest i think it goes both ways. There are some Ekaete's that don't stick to their job description. At the same time, i still think that sometimes they are being seduced by the men, sometimes even raped. The video was funny, but things like that happens.
